One of the ways they offer high-quality care is through Addiction Services benefit programs. Addiction services offers access to specialized care to treat particular issues. These health care options are available to full-time associates enrolled in Option 1, Option 2, and Choice Account with Optional HSA plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).

Magellan Healthcare is proud to add a Substance Use Disorder benefit program to Lowe’s offerings bringing total programs to five.

Below is the list of health and wellness programs Lowe’s already offers to eligible associates.

Existing Program Details:

1. Heart Surgery – Medical travel program that provides state-of-the-art services focused on heart surgery
2. Hip and Knee Replacement – Access to a nationwide network of highly-trained surgeons and hospitals that specialize in hip and knee replacements.
3. Spinal Surgery – Medical travel program that provides eligible associates access to a nationwide network of highly-trained surgeons and hospitals that specialize in lumbar spinal surgeries.
4. Fertility – A network of fertility specialists to assist those looking to grow their family and needing support with pregnancy, adoption and more.

Substance Use Disorder Program Details:

• If you or someone in your family is struggling with a substance use disorder, this program can provide you with support and resources, beginning January 1, 2021.
• This program will provide a higher level of coverage than before for certain substance use disorder treatments at select national treatment facilities. Preauthorization is required by calling 1-877-543-3875, select Option 2, then 1.
