Identity Theft Resolution
This service offers education and guidance on preventing ID theft and provides expert assistance from a Fraud Resolution Specialist™ (FRS) to help restore your creditworthiness when there has been an issue.
Fraud Resolution Specialists can assist with:
- Conducting seven emergency response activities, including:
- Completing the ID Theft Affidavit or any applicable forms
- Submitting the ID Theft Affidavit to creditors, credit bureaus, or other affected entities
- Completing and submitting dispute letters and fraud packets on your behalf
- Assisting with placing fraud alerts on your credit file
- Assisting with obtaining and reviewing your credit report
- Providing you with an ID Theft Emergency Response Kit
- Educating you on proactive or preventative steps for safeguarding your identity
- Challenging fraudulent accounts/debts
- Guidance on correcting credit reports and restoring credit reputations
