Identity Theft Resolution

This service offers education and guidance on preventing ID theft and provides expert assistance from a Fraud Resolution Specialist™ (FRS) to help restore your creditworthiness when there has been an issue.

Fraud Resolution Specialists can assist with:

  • Conducting seven emergency response activities, including:
    1. Completing the ID Theft Affidavit or any applicable forms
    2. Submitting the ID Theft Affidavit to creditors, credit bureaus, or other affected entities
    3. Completing and submitting dispute letters and fraud packets on your behalf
    4. Assisting with placing fraud alerts on your credit file
    5. Assisting with obtaining and reviewing your credit report
    6. Providing you with an ID Theft Emergency Response Kit
    7. Educating you on proactive or preventative steps for safeguarding your identity
  • Challenging fraudulent accounts/debts
  • Guidance on correcting credit reports and restoring credit reputations
